Booking suggested this hotel as the one we had booked cancelled our reservation just one hour before check-in! We really appreciated booking's suggestion as they offered us the chance to stay in a great hotel the last day of our trip. The mattress and pillows were perfect. Amenities in the bathroom were top notch (they are available for purchase in the lobby). The decoration was in balinese style. We really liked it although it was a little out of place. There is a gym we didn't use. There is complimentary coffee and tea available in the lobby all day with various plant-based milks. Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly. I'd like to specially mention the guy in the kitchen (from Moldova) who went above and beyond to serve us.

I loved the hotel location, staff and room amenities (electric kettle, selection of teas and coffees so you can have your first coffee in your room). Hotel cosmetics are great and high quality (shampoo, shower gel, free toothbrushes and tooth pastilles are a great plus). Breakfast is amazing and very rich. Also, we've been there during very cold days, so free coffee and tea in the hotel lobby any time during the day is a lifesaver. The hotel lobby is very cozy for informal meetings or just simply hanging out w/ friends and colleagues.

Beds were firm (really important for us). The free parking (lot in back) was very convenient to use. Staff were very helpful in storing our luggage as we arrived early. Coffee/hot water/ice water were always available. Though the location was a slightly further from the restaurants and sights in Reykjavik this actually worked in our favor as we needed to leave the next AM early. Since we were driving a rental car it was somewhat easier to get out of Reykjavik. Also, the location was relatively quiet compared to closer into downtown.

Great location, everything is in walking distance and buses for the tours are able to pick up and drop off directly outside the hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is exactly as shown in the photos, and the rooms are all easily accessible without long walks through lobbies. We were actually really lucky and also saw the Northern Lights from the front of the hotel on our 4th night. The cleaners come in everyday to freshen up the room, change towels and refill toiletries.

Rooms are spacious for Iceland however there are no bath tubs only showers. The hotel is almost a mile from the main downtown are so you’ll do a lot of walking. The hotel is not near anything nor is it close to public transport. The lobby is gorgeous and the amenities are first class. The shampoo, other items in the bathroom are superb. On the plus side: Because the location is far from downtown it’s quiet at night. I saw some of the other hotels downtown and they were tiny and spartan.
